Add a New Face Position Using Add in the 3D Canvas

1. In the Setup Development > Tracking tab, in the Modes pane, click Add.
2. In the 3D Canvas, click the heading to which you want to add tracking information.

Note: If you want to add tracking data to a heading that requires previous headings to be mined, you must add tracking data for the previous headings which records that sufficient mining is complete in the previous headings that the heading of interest is available for mining.

A new row appears in the Tracking data grid, with the columns filled for the Heading, Length, and % Complete, based on the position you selected in the 3D Canvas.

3. Enter the information for the new face position:
   1. If the position you selected in the 3D Canvas is not accurate, in the Length column, adjust the length value or in the % Complete, adjust the completion value.
   2. In the Date column, click the Calendar button and select the date at which the face position was reached.

Add a New Face Position Using Insert in the Tracking Data Grid

1. In the Setup Development > Tracking tab, in the Tracking data grid, click Insert.

A new row is added to the Tracking data grid. All columns in this new row are blank.

2. In the Heading column, type the heading name or select the heading for which you want to add a face position.
3. In the Length column, type the value for the length along the heading at which the face is located or in the % Complete column, type the completion value.
4. In the Date column, click the Calendar button and select the date at which the face position was reached.
